Waitlists

The Waitlist feature lets your clients to join a waiting list for preferred appointment times that are currently unavailable. This automated system helps maximize booking opportunities and enhances client satisfaction by offering flexible alternatives.

How It Works

  1. Clients submit their preferred appointment time through the booking form.
  2. If a time slot opens up within 1 hour (before or after) of the client’s preferred time, the system automatically emails the client.
  3. The client can then book the newly available slot online.

Managing Waitlist Entries

Accessing Waitlist

  1. Navigate to the “Waitlists” page in your admin panel.
  2. You’ll see a list of all waitlist entries, including client names, requested services, and preferred times.

Filtering Waitlist Entries

  1. Use the “Select Service” button at the top of the page to filter entries by specific services.
  2. Select “All Waitlisted Services” to view all entries across all services.

Viewing Waitlist Details

  1. Click on a waitlist entry to view its details.
  2. The detail view shows the client’s information, requested service, and preferred time.

Deleting Waitlist Entries

  1. In the waitlist detail view, you can delete an entry if it’s no longer relevant or if the client has been accommodated.
  2. Use caution when deleting entries, as this action cannot be undone.

Automatic Management

  • The waitlist system is fully automated. When a suitable slot opens up, the client is automatically notified via email.
  • No manual intervention is required to match clients with available slots.

Important Notes

  • The Waitlist feature is only available for service appointments, not for classes or activities.
  • Waitlist functionality can be toggled on or off in the Booking Policy settings.
